- How old must a swimmer be to join the team?
We have swimmers ranging in age from age 4 to high school seniors.
- Do I have to be a good swimmer to join the team?
All you need to be able to do is swim 25-meters of freestyle and backstroke. This is the length of most pools.
- What if I'm involved in other sports?
Several of our swimmers participate in other activities, too. Our practices are usually offered several days a week to allow for more opportunities to participate.
- Are meets held every weekend?
Typically, there are 5-6 meets starting in mid May with Divisional and Invitational meets after the regular season has ended.
- Is there a lot of travel involved?
Most of our meets are in the Northwest Houston area and at our home pool.
- Where are practices held?
Practices are held at the Lakeland Village Aquatics Center in Bridgeland.
- Do the boys have to wear "Speedos"?
No, although they are still around, most boys opt for the knee-length "jammer" suit.
- What is the cost?
The cost is based on the number of swimmers in your family and age of your children:

Families who are not residents of Bridgeland will be charged a fee of $25.00 for use of the Aquatics Center during Swim Team activities. Non-resident families will not be eligible to use the pool outside of Swim Team events.
